Zusammenfassung:The underground water resources are very important in the semi-arid places. The pollution by heavy elements such as Cadmium, Chrome, Lead, and Cobalt must be evaluated in the groundwater due to their effects on human, irrigation, farming… etc. The spatial analysis for the studied area were studied through different interpolation methods. Four methods were investigated (Global polynomial, Local Polynomial, Radial Bases Function, and Inverse Distance Weight). The pollution of underground water with heavy elements were used to evaluate the best method to be applied for estimating the distribution of the point data. The studied area was located at Anbar province / Iraq. The evaluation were done in three ways (mean error, root mean square error, and the surface behavior). The results shows an exclude for the both local and global polynomial and focused on both inverse distance weight and radial basis function.
