Zusammenfassung: | Imidazolium salts were derived from various substitutions from length alkyl halides chain Silver (I) complexes where synthesized from the reaction with Ag2O using in situ deprotonation technique giving derived structures in good yield. The use of Ag(I)-NHC complexes as transfer reagents using transmetallation technique to prepare their N-heterocyclic carbene complexes such Au(I)-NHC. Antibacterial activity of imidazolium salts and respective Ag(I) and Au(I)-NHC complexes. The Ag(I) and Au(I) complexes provided good activity compared with their corresponding salts. |
