Zusammenfassung:Crude oil is one of the most important global energy sources whose industry must be developed and improved. At the same time, all damages that harm the environment must be avoided in the operations of the oil industries, and the most important of these damages are the quantities of hydrocarbon materials remaining in the water used in the process of extracting crude oil, which must be extracted from it and purify that water before it is put back into the environment to be suitable for use. In this study, the main objective is to remove these toxic substances from water by using nano activated carbon as an adsorbent material that can adsorb toxic compounds, especially after reinforcing them and impregnating them with metals of an alkali metal, specifically titanium oxide, which would enhance the adsorption process with using UV ray. The effect of dose, temperature, and pH on the adsorption process was studied by using a UV lamp and without a UV lamp to find out the effect of traditional and modern energy sources. The best results were 99.7% at dose 13 g, the temperature at 90°C, pH of 7.
