The Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya church of the Kurunzulay village in East Transbaikalia: Architectural features of the forgotten monument of church architecture (on materials of field researches)

Architectural features of one of the brightest monuments of wooden church architecture of East Transbaikalia of the end of the 19th century – Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church of the Kurunzulay village are characterized. It is noted that, despite relative popularity of construction in the region, it did not become object of serious scientific study, neither in terms of the history of construction, nor from positions of detailed characteristic of architectural features. Article is result of field researches of authors. They note that the building of church is allocated among monuments of church architecture of the region. They remained a little, however among available, Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church of the village Kurunzulay has the special, interesting composition. The building is thrown and gradually collapses. The question of its preservation and restoration, today, is not necessary. At the same time, its need is obvious.
