Zusammenfassung:The article presents the results of work on the use of biofuel technology to improve the reclamation of irrigated lands and save water in Sayhunabad and Galaba districts of Syrdarya region. In determining the levels of salinity of the active soil layer and mineralization of groundwater, scientific research was carried out in the following experimental options: Option 1 - artificial hydraulic drainage; Option 2 - biofuel (alfalfa); Option 3 - bio-artificial hydraulic combined drainage; Option 4 - cultivation of alfalfa with winter wheat in an artificial hydraulic ditch. The results of the study showed that the decrease in salinity was influenced by the fact that the top layer of soil was covered with alfalfa and the groundwater transpiration increased. The salinity of the artificial hydraulic drainage variant is different, in January the salinity was 0.27% lower than that of the 1st option. During the season, it was 10-12% more efficient than the bioavailability system. If we take into account the cost of construction and operation of artificial hydraulic drainage and bio-drainage, the efficiency of the bio-drainage system is high. If 10-12 thousand soums are spent for the construction of 1 meter of artificial hydraulic ditch, 500-600 soums are spent for bio-drainage, the difference is on average 20 times.
