Fault tolerance of the traffic lights

In the present work it aims to review the most common types of traffic lights installed at intersections in cities and to assess their performance. Three types of traffic lights are considered. The total failure rate of the components of the traffic lights is shown. An estimate was made of the average time to the first failure of the three most common variants of traffic lights, which shows how long the product will work without failure.
