Zusammenfassung:The article presents the studies determining the hydraulic structures safe locationin the immediate vicinity of the water edge. Mobile pumping stations are cheaper than stationary ones and do not need constant protection. To install the pumps, a concrete slabs foundation is required. In order to fulfill safety measures, rational use of financial resources, the estimated life of the foundation must be 10 years. Consequently, mobile pumping stations must be located in places where the impact of coastal processes is minimal. It is necessary to draw up a bank deformation forecast for the hydraulic construction safety. Special difficulties arise in the process of calculating the parameters of the flow movement of at bends of channels because of insufficience of data concerning the flow movement mechanism. To correct the calculations in each specific case, it is necessary to carry out additional field hydrological studies based on evaluation of long-term observations using historical space images from different years (Google Earth Pro). It becomes possible to determine the location of stable coastal zones suitable for the location of structures. The stable coastal zone usually locates on the convex part of a bend of slight curvature, with a washed-out section upstream and a section of sediment deposition downstream. The presence of a whirlpool upstream in the immediate vicinity of the stable coastal zone is essential condition. This method can serve as a starting point for determining the hydraulic structures safe location.
