Access control system based on facial image analysis

The use of access control systems (ACS) allows you to solve a number of problems that enterprises and organizations face to ensure security. The article is devoted to the description of the results of the development of such a system based on the biometric technology of identification of a person from a face image. Composition and structure of the access control system, a description of the hardware and software and algorithmic support of the system are given. Structure of the system's database has been determined and a diagram of the connection between tables of this database has been formed, the principle of operation of the proposed system has been described. The developed system can be used in enterprises, institutions and organizations to prevent unauthorized access to premises. The proposed approach to creating a system can serve as a prototype for the development of other control and access control systems.
