Zusammenfassung: | Evaluation in relationship between hardness and Larson Miller Parameter of various types of heat resistant steel based on literature study to predict the creep rupture time applications has been conducted. There are six types of steel alloys used in this evaluation such as 1Cr-0.5Mo steel, Cr-Mo-V steel, 2.25Cr-1Mo steel, 9Cr1Mo steel, 9Cr1MoVNb steel andc15Cr-15Ni-2Mo-1Mn-N austenitic steel. Heat resistant steel when exposed to high temperature at constant time and load will result in creep damage, wall thinning, and oxidation, soften and fracture. Often, the service life of the steel compromises the specification in the component due to invariably operation temperatures. In addressing this issue, the selected creep alloy was used to predict the rupture time. The outcome of research unveils the alloying, heat treatment and cold working process as well as types of metals affect the relationship between the hardness and Larson Miller Parameter Curve. |
