Zusammenfassung: | In this work, we developed a simple lattice model of adsorption of potassium cations on the (001) muscovite surface from an aqueous solution. The adsorption of isolated water molecules was studied. Interactions of two potassium cations in a vacuum and an aqueous solution were calculated. The ground-state phase diagram of the model (T = 0 K) was constructed. The Monte Carlo simulation was carried out using the Metropolis algorithm and the parallel temperature technique. Adsorption isotherms were calculated at 200 and 300 K. It is shown how the increase in the potassium cation concentration affects the structure of the adsorption monolayer. |
