Zusammenfassung:Research by many consulting companies has focused on the level’s assessment of the digitalization of the economy’s and enterprises’ selected areas. The authors mainly use two approaches to evaluation: an expert score and a multi-factor level score. The impact of the level of digitalization on the economic performance of enterprises can be seen indirectly. Many approaches apply only to large corporations. The purpose of this article is to define mathematical dependencies of economic indicators for medium-sized engineering enterprises in industrial regions. The sample of the study is presented by 13 medium-sized engineering enterprises in two directions: enterprises of machining process and enterprises of electrical engineering industry. The results of the study identified key indicators of digitalization and their impact on marginal enterprise income. The main influencing factors are the proportion of developments carried out using cloud technologies; the proportion of employees using digital technologies; electronic interaction with counterparties; electronic collaboration in scientific-research and development work.
