Zusammenfassung: | In this study an attempt made to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in welding robots by adding additional positioner. OEE tool is used to evaluate the effectiveness of an equipment as well as efficiency of the organization by utilizing other resources such as manpower and materials. The idle time is utilized for rising the OEE through SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) by incorporating new positioned having relatively low weight. The idle time study of total welding in robot was estimated by time study before and after the addition of positioned and their results are discussed. |
