Diagnostic methods of tomato leaf curl New Delhi virus in Russian Federation

Tomato leaf curl New Delhi virus (ToLCNDV) is a member of the genus Begomovirus of the family Geminiviridae. The genus Begomovirus is the largest in the Geminiviridae family and currently includes 388 species. It is generally recognized that identification of Begomoviruses to the species level is associated with certain difficulties due to the high identity of their genome. The purpose of this research is to test and validate of specific primers use in the world practice for diagnostics of ToLCNDV by conventional PCR (5 pairs) and real-time PCR (2 pairs with probes).
