Zusammenfassung:Research on plastics polymer packaging waste research has been carried out in Citizen Association at Kampong Melayu by conducting counseling, sorting waste with two sorting containers, and sorting plastic for 8 days. The study with the Survey Method was conducted in East Jakarta, with a total sample of n = 61 houses chosen randomly. The findings are as follows that obtaining 0.02 kg plastics packaging waste per person per day consisting of, food and drink 16 types and 3 types of waste products in the form of disposable shopping bags whose plastic consists of plastic polymers cannot be decomposed naturally. With producers more attention to their waste, the completion of waste management can be done according to waste management policies.
