Zusammenfassung:The fused image is one of the image processing branches that employed within this paper for satellite images to obtain one image with optimal details. Different satellite images with a different quality to the same location used in the suggest fused algorithm. This algorithm depends on statistical methods, classification method, and edge contrast method. The statistical methods are mean, standard deviation, signal to noise ratio, and statistic contrast vector. Classification step used the minimum distance method that applied to satellite images. Contrast edge methods applied after the classification step to add fine details to the fused image. The results show good quality of the fused image depending on the statistical criteria in all steps.
