Zusammenfassung:In recent days, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding process is used in many industries. In present work describes the details of welding parametric optimization of stellite metal matrix. The metal matrix is fabricated by stir casting method. The various input parameters like as welding current, speed of weld and Standoff Distance (SoD) are considered. The welding strength is considered as the output parameter. The percentage of contribution of welding parameters on welding strength is analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The taguchi parametric optimization is used to analyze the optimal welding parameter. The hardness is also measured at various joint of the welding zone.
