Zusammenfassung: | The World of Science is witnessing a fruitful transformation from the traditional or conventional practices to practices that are Eco-Friendly in nature, and helps to keep environmental hazards at bay. The Engineering and allied industries have also initiated to adopt such measures to keep pace with the best practices of the Global village. In consideration of such a beneficial effect, paper intends to investigate the leaves extract of Ailanthus excelsaRoxb.(AEL),Bauhinia racemosa Lam(BRL).and HardwickiabinataRoxb. (HBL) as green corrosion inhibitors for mild steel in aerated 1 M HCl solution using weight loss and electrochemical techniques. It was found that the 3 plants studied offered good corrosion protection in HCl medium. |
