Zusammenfassung: | The present study focuses on the effect of vanadium substitution in potassium sodium niobate (K0.5Na0.5NbO3). The sample was fabricated by using the solid-state reaction technique. The mixed powders were calcined at 750°C for 4 hours. XRD analysis of the calcined powder was taken out for the confirmation of phase formation. The pellets were sintered in a microwave furnace at 750°C for 1 hour. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) micrograph shows the formation of densely packed large grains. The nature of PE loop confirms the ferroelectric behaviour of the sample. The dielectric study shows the vanadium doped KNN possess a high transition temperature at higher temperature range which can make it useful for high temperature device application. |
