Zusammenfassung: | ZnO-ZnO/CuO-CuO heterostuctures were grown on flexible copper substrate at room temperature using spin coating technique. The XRD analysis of CuO over flexible Copper substrates shows diffraction peaks at (1 1 -1) and (1 1 1) planes. Optical studies of ZnO films show absorption edge at 358 nm with bandgap of 3.34 eV. The as prepared ZnO films on glass showed emissions in UV, Violet and Blue-Green region of the spectrum. Electrical characterization of the hetero-structure showed “p-n” junction characteristics. A theoretical study of the current density-voltage characteristics was under taken to identify as to why any significant photovoltaic effect could not be observed across the hetero-structure. The theoretical fitting has been used to identify parameters like diode ideality factor, series resistance and work function for the grown hetero-structre and the effect of illumination on these parameters has been reported in this work. |
