Zusammenfassung:In this study, we report the synthesis of pure phase tetragonal Mn3O4 nanoparticles with average crystallite size∼36 nanometer (nm), via a cost effective sol-gel route. The structural, morphological and magnetic properties of the synthesized Mn3O4 nanoparticles have been studied using X-Ray Diffraction, Field Enhanced Scanning Electron Microscopy and Alternating Gradient Magnetometer respectively. The room temperature magnetization vs magnetic field measurements in the – 1 to +1 Tesla range confirmed the paramagnetic characteristic of the nanoparticles.
