Zusammenfassung: | The pure and TiO2:Pr3+ (0.1-0.9 mol%) NPs were synthesized by low temperature solution combustion method by the combination of fuels (glycine and urea) and calcined at temperature of 700°C for 2 hours to achieve purity and crystallanity. The PXRD results endorses the phase and size of the crystallites about 28-39 nm, whereas FESEM elucidates the size of the particles was of the order of 19-25 nm in addition to flaky morphology of the NPs. The phase transition was also noticed in the PXRD due to the addition of dopant. The various modes and phases of pure and Pr3+ ions doped TiO2 were identified by Raman studies. The PL excitation and emission spectra yields the CIE chromaticity coordinates and CCT as 5000 K. Thus, the doped TiO2 can be used to design wLED which can be used for household and commercial applications. |
