Analytical solutions to 2‐D Grad‐Shafranov equation with variable internal magnetic structure

A simple analytical solution to the Grad–Shafranov equation in the cylindrical approximation is found. The simplicity is achieved through the use of inverse‐elliptic cylinder coordinates and a somewhat unorthodox choice of a boundary coordinate.
