Zusammenfassung:Magnetic methods of phase composition control of austenitic steels are described briefly as well as some of their issues. Study of two-phase austenitic steels specimens were carried out. Clear relation between phase composition and maximal differential magnetic susceptibility was found out in magnetic fields with much less strength (250, 450 and 550 A/cm), than fields of magnetic saturation. Additional transmission electronic microscopy was performed to prove two-phase structure of the specimens.
