Zusammenfassung: | In the present study, Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles have been synthesised using co-precipitation technique using titanium tetrachloride and sodium hydroxide as a precursor materials. The TiO2 nanoparticles so obtained were characterized using powder X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for structural and morphological properties. The TiO2 nanoparticles were annealed at 450 °C, 500 °C, and 550 °C. The synthesised compounds were irradiated with gamma radiation ranging from 200 Gy to 1 kGy. Thermoluminescentand dosimetric characteristics of TiO2 nanoparticles have been studied using Thermoluminescent Dosimeter (TLD) reader (Model No: 1009I). The thermoluminescence (TL) glow curves of TiO2 nanoparticles have been evaluated for different doses of gamma irradiation. The TL response of these nanoparticles shows the increasing trend with increasing of annealing temperature. The more detailed analysis along with results and discussions are presented in this paper. |
