Zusammenfassung: | In the present world it is essential to find an alternate fuel source due to the increased industrialization and reduction in natural resources. The method of finding biodiesel from various sources and blending them with diesel is adopted in many economically developed and developing countries around the world. The active study have exposed the use of inedible oil for engines as an substitute for diesel fuel. Nevertheless, around is a constraint in using inedible oil in diesel engines due to their high viscosity and low volatility. In the present work, corn oil is transformed into their systematic methyl ester through transesterification process and nearby the result of injection timings (19°, 23° and 27° bTDC) on performance, emission and combustion characteristics of corn oil methylester blends in DI diesel engine. From the investigational study, it is concluded that CB20 can be used as an substitute fuel for DI diesel engine with the injection timing of 19° bTDC with injection pressure of 200 bar without any engine alteration. |
