Zusammenfassung:In this study different %weight of alumina filled dental composite were prepared and were stored for different bench time before curing with blue LED light curing unit for different curing time. Using L9 orthogonal array, samples were prepared with different input parameters and polymerization shrinkage of all samples were measured. Using Taguchi method, effect of %wt alumina content, curing time and bench time on polymerization shrinkage were studied. ANOVA test were performed to validate the significance of input parameters. Optimum values of %weight alumina content in resin material and curing time for desired polymerization shrinkage were found to be at 40% of % alumina content with curing time of 40 seconds. Results of this study shows that curing time is most significant parameter for minimum polymerization shrinkage followed by %weight of alumina content. Bench time showed least effect on polymerization shrinkage of alumina filled dental composite.
