Study on properties and selection of metal matrix and reinforcement material for composites

Composite is a combination of two different materials which gives a higher mechanical property for our requirements. Metal matrix composites have a unique metal as a matrix throughout the complete materials and different reinforcement particles for improving its properties. This study defines the various combinations of different metals and reinforcements, their use by various researchers, improvement in properties and applications. Also the micro and nano particles influences on the matrix shown in this study.
