Zusammenfassung:Portable home use mammograph based on the impedance measurements at frequencies at kHz range is considered. The device is intended to detect tumors in the breast by means of scanning the surface impedance of the tissue. The software provides the visualization of the conductivity distribution of the tissue. The structure of the device and the algorithm of it operation are presented. The operation and basic parameters of the commutation and measuring modules are described. The commutation module provides the switching the probing signal between the 64 measuring electrodes of the device. The base of the measuring module is a precision impedance converter, which performs both the generation of a probing signal and impedance measurements. An experimental study of the prototype of the device on breast phantom was carried out.
