Zusammenfassung:In Morocco, in spite of the evolution of the female population in science in general over the last few years, we note that at the level of teacher-researchers there is a disparity in the percentages of women between education and research. The field of research is dominated by men, and the percentage of women researchers in higher education is decreasing. Some universities are becoming aware of these inequalities and trying to get involved in gender projects and programs such the SHEMERA project (2011–2014) and currently the TARGET project (2017–2020) for the Hassan-II-University of Casablanca. Other initiatives are being undertaken by nonprofit organizations, such as the Moroccan Association of Women in Science (AFSM).
