Zusammenfassung: | The present article reports a biogenic method of preparation of cerium oxide nanoparticles. Fruit extract of Morus nigra has been explored for the fabrication of cerium oxide nanoparticles that are characterized with transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-visible absorption and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD). Morphology of the nanoparticles is examined by TEM and confirmed their crystalline structure with XRD. The cell viability of cerium oxide nanoparticles are studied using L929 cell lines, which confirmed its biocompatible nature. Furthermore, the synthesized nanoparticles are found to possess excellent antidiabetic activity that render for applications in biomedical field. |
