Radiocarbon dating, a versatile tool for archaeology, environmental studies and cultural heritage at Bucharest RoAMS laboratory

We present a short laboratory portrait which includes the main directions of research regarding the radiocarbon dating, together with our dedicated instrumentation and infrastructure. Different results obtained in different research fields like archaeology, environmental studies and cultural heritage are presented, as well as comments on sample preparation during the isolation of the representative fraction suited for dating.
