Zusammenfassung:TiO2 phases can affect corrosion properties and biological performance. Under these perspective, TiO2 nanotubes (TN) synthesized by anodization process of Ti foil is importance for potential implant applications. However, no comprehensive information is available on the corrosion resistance properties of TN regarding their surface structure and phases. Therefore, in this paper, corrosion resistance of TN produces at different annealing temperature to get different phases (amorphous, anatase and rutile) is reported. XRD and Raman spectroscopy analyses were performed to observe the phase changes. Electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization experiments were carried out in Tetraspan solution at 37 °C using a potentiostat/galvanostat to mimic human body fluid environment. It is observed that anatase phase give higher corrosion resistance due to crystallized barrier oxide layer hinder the corrosion activity.
