Zusammenfassung: | Bone tissue might fail under the influence of external mechanical factors or diseases. Scaffolds are widely used for replacing portions of bone tissue or an entire bone skeleton element. A large part of the research of their mechanical behavior and interaction with surrounding biological tissues are theoretical studies. This paper is a review that examines the key theoretical works in the field of biomechanics of framework materials used for making bone implants. The literature data on the models used to describe the mechanical behavior of framework materials and their interaction with biological fluids is presented. |
