Zusammenfassung: | Syntheses to produce Poly Lactic Acid (PLA), bentonite and chitosan with the blending process to the manufacture of PLA / Bentonite/chitosan nanocomposite was studied. Comparison of synthesis products with commercial products is made to determine the quality of PLA / Chitosan / Bentonite from synthesis in the laboratory. Improved quality of PLA / Bentonite/chitosan nanocomposite materials and chitosan treatment with glutaraldehyde to produce better crosslinking character IS ALSO done. The result of this research is the lactic acid showing the infrared spectrum of the hydroxyl group OH with the strong indication of hydrogen bond formation, as seen from the peak width of the wavelength number 3800 cm−1. The carbonyl group as a strain of C = O is shown in the 1700 cm−1 wavelength. Furthermore, X-RD (X-ray diffraction) showed testing d-spacing 0.04m bentonite, which is capable of being degraded Because It comes from renewable materials. in this research addition of chitosan and bentonite have shown the effect to microbial activity. The results showed the lowest colony growth rate was found in sample A than sample B and C during the test for 12 days. This shows that the anti-bacterial properties that exist in chitosan can inhibit bacterial growth. |
