Zusammenfassung: | Thermography is a noninvasive research method using thermographic cameras for measuring thermal energy produced by a living organism. In our study we used infrared hand-held camera CEDIP Titanium 560M IR (USA), to measure skin temperature before and after a 30–week Step Aerobics Training which was designed as preparation for summer tourist activity. The study included healthy students from Bialystok University of Technology. We conclude that the 30–week SAT program significantly lowers the average temperature of trunk and arms which may be associated with improved physical capacity. Thermal imaging seems to be a safe and non–invasive technique of monitoring of the efficiency of training. |
