Zusammenfassung: | This work focuses on the development of a method for determination of activity ratio 234U/238U in uranium leach liquors using alpha spectrometry. High content of iron, aluminum and sodium was the main problem of these solutions that made impossible direct preparation of a thin alpha source. Anion exchange resin AMP was suggested for preconcentration and separation of uranium from untreated uranium leach liquors. Cation exchange resin KU-2 was suggested for decontamination of the uranium concentrates from 230Th. Optimal time of uranium electrodeposition onto a stainless steel disk was found to be 40 – 60 minutes. |
