Zusammenfassung:The process of heat transfer by natural convection for the cooling of containers with radioactive waste is considered. The method of distillation residue thermal characteristics estimation is given. The results of computer simulation of heat removal from a container with internal heat sources by natural convection of the surrounding air are brought. The ways of improving the intensity of heat emission from the container external surface are offered.
