Zusammenfassung:Constitutive behavior of AA1100-O was investigated. The material, commercially available as extruded round bar, had a peculiar microstructure consisting in an inner section core with a large grain surrounded by an external annulus with finer grains. After annealing, low and high strain rates tensile tests, at temperatures ranging from -190 °C to 100 °C, were conducted. Material constitutive response was modelled with a modified version of the Rusinek & Klepaczko model and parameters were calibrated on tensile tests data. Finally, the model was validated under complex deformation load histories simulating symmetric Taylor impact (ROR) and dynamic tensile extrusion (DTE) tests at different impact velocities.
