Zusammenfassung: | The electric quadrupole (E2) transition parameters, such as wavelengths, oscillator strengths, and transition probabilities (or rates) have been calculated using the relativistic Hartree-Fock (HFR) method developed by Cowan for singly ionized magnesium (Mg II, Z = 12). We have compared our results with previously reported the available calculations in literature. A discussion of these calculations for Mg II in this study has also been in view of the HFR method. |
