Zusammenfassung:The long-wavelength IR transmission spectra of a K Yb ( Mo O 4 ) 2 crystal in the spectral range 10 – 40 cm − 1 at low temperatures T = 6 K are measured in polarized light. Two vibrational modes with energies 16.8 cm − 1 ( E ∥ a ) and 25.3 cm − 1 ( E ∥ c ) are found. The structure of the low-frequency vibrational spectrum in the Brillouin zone is calculated using a one-dimensional model.
