Zusammenfassung:In this article, we describe a new frequency synthesis system that includes a low phase noise cryogenic sapphire oscillator (CSO) and an H-maser to provide metrological low-noise signals to time and frequency experiments. Implementing this system as a local oscillator for a Cs cold atom fountain, a record frequency stability of 1.6 × 10 − 14 τ − 1 ∕ 2 is obtained.
