Variational Principle in Magnetohydrodynamics
By using a special set of electromagnetic field potentials and an appropriate Lagrangian density, the momentum equation for a compressible, inviscid, infinitely conducting fluid undergoing isentropic motion in an electromagnetic field is obtained.
