Zusammenfassung: | An electronic instrument which generates a train of constant amplitude pulses occurring at random times is described. The average pulse rate of this process is a linear function of a controlling voltage. The intervals between successive pulses form a renewal process and the probability density of these intervals may be varied from an exponential distribution to a gamma distribution of variable form. Statistical measurements on the pulse train are described which support the claims on its statistical properties. |
