The purpose of the present review was to update the available information about EPF in Misiones in order to expand the knowledge of biodiversity of this group and the potential use in biocontrol of pest. The broad literature in this subject was reviewed and synthesized. First we present a general view of taxonomical information of EPF and then, noteworthy studies conducted by several authors.
