Zusammenfassung:ABSTRACT This work aimed to determine the microorganisms associated with the prevalence of subclinical mastitisindairygoatsfromBoyacá.Across-sectionalstudywithconvenience sampling was performed, and 256 individuals were included for analysis. Milk samples were taken aseptically directly from the mammary gland and transported to the laboratory at a temperature of 4 °C. In the laboratory, the samples were submitted for the California Mastitis Test (CMT), and only those with a value of CMT 2 and 3 were selected for microbial culture in agars and subsequently identified with biochemical tests. The general prevalence of subclinical mastitis was 26.56%, which corresponds to 136 mammary halves. From this prevalence, 73% of the samples presented microbial growth associated with the disease. The main microbial agents associated with subclinical mastitis were coagulase-negative staphylococci and coagulase-positive staphylococci with 24 and 26% respectively, likewise, another important finding was the presence of gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli and some fungi in 4 and 2% respectively.
