Gastric volvulus - an explanation through imaging : tips for the radiologist

Gastric volvulus is a rare condition. It can be partial or complete. Torsion of the stomach through less than 180o without obstruction is termed partial volvulus. Volvulus of more than 180o with obstruction is termed complete.
