Zusammenfassung:Type 3CR12 corrosion-resistant steel has recently been developed as a weldable 12 per cent chromium-containing, corrosion-resistant steel and has not been as widely documented as the other well-known ferritic stainless steels, types 409 and 430. For this reason a rather comprehensive discussion of the analysis of the mechanical properties of type 3CR12 steel is contained in this paper.
