Zusammenfassung:	Objectives : To assess the choice of surgical repair procedures and post-operative management of the ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in the South African Orthopaedic community. Methods : A census questionnaire study was conducted on all 475 Orthopaedic surgeons registered with the Orthopaedic Association of South Africa during 1993/1994. The Chi-square test was used to determine statistical significance between different groups of respondents.
