Zusammenfassung:An earth-abundant photocatalytic system composed of an organic TADF photosensitizer and a simple terpyridine-Fe( iii ) complex was developed for CO 2 reduction. In the presence of water, significant enhancement of CO generation was observed with 99.3% selectivity. The turnover number (TON) and turnover frequency (TOF) were determined to be 2250 and 60 min −1 , respectively. An efficient earth-abundant photocatalytic system composed of an organic TADF photosensitizer and a simple terpyridine-Fe( iii ) complex was developed for CO 2 reduction.
