Zusammenfassung:The Co 1.11 Te 2 material, prepared by using an MOF as the self-template, showed excellent catalytic performance in the photoconversion of CO 2 to CO. Experimental and theoretical evidence demonstrate that Co 1.11 Te 2 has half-metallic nature, which is conducive to transferring electrons and enhancing the catalytic reduction activity. Co 1.11 Te 2 enwrapped in a carbon layer displayed high catalytic performance for photocatalytic CO 2 reduction. The strong electron transfer ability and the low energy barrier are the key factors that promote its high catalytic activity.
